On Saturday 19 April, 9:30 - 17:00, MacGuffin teams up with the Independent School for the City and artist Lou Lou van Staaveren for Fieldclub The Nursery. As a follow-up to the MacGuffin podcast TREES, the Fieldclub will take us to Boskoop, a landscape of tree nurseries, canals, and greenhouses that has shaped ecosystems worldwide.

Exploring the tension between craft and industry, between ecology and economy, we’ll visit five unique nurseries, from 'rewilded' family-run lands to large-scale organic producers. What does it mean to be ecological today? Through collective observation and discussion, we’ll uncover the stories of survival and adaptation in this cultivated wilderness. With an introduction by (among others) tree researcher Marjolein van der Loo.
